Echoes of Cirque Echoes of Cirque, a vibrant night of Gypsy Jazz live at The Presynct. Born out of the magic of the Woodford Folk Festival, Echoes of Cirque emerged from the Cirque Hot Club program in 2023, uniting four accomplished musicians with a shared passion for jazz manouche. Drawing inspiration from the timeless swing of Django Reinhardt and the romance of 1930s Paris, the group blends traditional Gypsy Jazz with a fresh, contemporary edge influenced by today’s European scene. Featuring Rory Dollard (guitar), Rodrigo Santiago (guitar), Lachlan Alexander (clarinet), and Benja King (double bass), Echoes of Cirque deliver high-energy performances rich in virtuosity, rhythmic drive, and musical interplay.
