Australia's favourite indie festival celebrates its 21st birthday with a move to the Gold Coast, plus Chappell Roan, Wolf Alice, PinkPantheress and Wet Leg across six cities.

Laneway Festival is turning 21, and like any proper coming-of-age celebration, there are big changes afoot. The beloved indie festival is celebrating with its strongest lineup in years and a shake-up to its traditional route.

Gold Coast Debut

For the first time in over a decade, Laneway is leaving Brisbane behind – relocating to Southport Sharks on the Gold Coast. With Brisbane preparing for major renovations ahead of the 2032 Olympics, organisers saw the perfect opportunity for a sea change. New venue, new energy.
