Sydney metalcore heroes Polaris announced as special guests for Linkin Park's first Australian shows since 2013.
Sydney metalcore heroes Polaris have been announced as the special guests for Linkin Park's 2026 Australian arena tour β the American rock legends' first Australian shows since 2013.
The band described the opportunity as "the honour of a lifetime."
About Polaris
Since emerging in 2012, Polaris have carved a fierce presence through a blend of melodic metalcore, post-rock touches, and electronic colour. Their albums The Mortal Coil and The Death Of Me both debuted in the Australian Top 10, earned ARIA Award nominations, and expanded the band's profile across Europe and North America.
With three studio albums, millions of streams, sold-out headline tours of Australia, and a formidable global live reputation, Polaris have dauntlessly faced and channelled life's angst, frustrations and despair through their craft.
Linkin Park's Return
This marks Linkin Park's first visit to Australia since 2013, and the first since their revival with new vocalist Emily Armstrong. From Zero, their first album since the tragic passing of vocalist Chester Bennington, marked the band's return with original members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Dave "Phoenix" Farrell, and Joe Hahn.
