About Anita's Theatre

Originally opened as King's Theatre in 1922 in Thirroul, this historic venue was rescued from decay in 2007 by local businessman John Comelli and renamed after his late wife. Now operated by Live Nation since 2022, it is the largest performing arts venue in the Illawarra region and has hosted artists including The Church, Kasey Chambers, Colin Hay, and The Cruel Sea.
